I'm gonna be honest. I have no idea where this came from. I have no idea why it was created, how it was created, when it was created. The metadata states 2007, but 4chan archives that include /v/ don't go that far back. It's possible that the text-only archive contains it, but I am not willing to go that far. Anyway - I came across this thing while browsing Soulseek. The directory name caught my eye, and after a bit of browsing, it turned out to be a pretty neat collection of various vidya OSTs. Hence, the Vidya. Cover art and OST selection most definitely implies /v/, but, again, God only knows where the fuck one can find the original threads for this.
Nonetheless, it's pretty fucking good. Alongside OSTs, The Vidya comes with various voice sketches that usually pop-up every couple of tracks and near the end of the album. Notably, Vol. 3 has GLaDOS and Vol. 6 has Masahiro Sakurai (with Sakurai having the voice of a questionably racist man at a low-quality mic), although there are a few other characters I assume are original on the other volumes. They're all pretty neat in their own right (especially Sakurai's), and it makes for an enjoyable experience overall.
